have the refrigerator for three months now. pros- everything works,the deli draw is plenty big enough(that is one reason i bought it),ice maker works well, plenty of room in the freezer. cons- biggest issue is the thermostat for me. the recommended setting is to warm and the next setting (max) will freeze foods like vegetable on the bottom shelf.needs one more setting in between the two. the fruit and vegetable draws should be larger, does not seem to freeze though. and for the location of the thermostat up front (like almost all other brands) it takes up to much space. noise has not been an issue it will make a high pitch sound when the compressor kicks on but nothing major.would like a few more shelf location options. over all its been a descent frig. so far

Limited space so this fits perfectly in our kitchen, but is more spacious than our last refrigerator and love the way the compartments and freezer are set up.. It's also quiet. Our last fridge was noisy without an icemaker that it thought was connected. It was recommended by the sales associate as well as the delivery crew. So glad I took sales associates' advice to purchase this product. And, another plus is the space underneath which makes for easy cleaning. A friend of mine has the same product I had before with the same complaints I had, noisy and poorly made. Shelves and racks tended to crack easily. I recommended the Maytag when she's ready to purchase a new one.

This item came with a condo I just bought in March. 2017 unit. About 3 wks ago, the fridge started freezing food - wasted eggs, milk, fruit and sparkling water that exploded in the garbage. I had it serviced this past week - they tried replacing the thermistor and same issues a couple days later. Today I was told that the compressor is out. There was not frost on the evaporator panel in the freezer and the tubing had a giant block of ice built up. 2 yr old unit? Dont bother!

Only had fridge for like 10 days but very pleased with it. Maytag is always been good to me and all I buy if possble.
